Whether it’s working out on my own or training my clients, my approach is that we work out to live, not live to workout.

I have trained over 60,000 sessions for over 400 clients. Most of my clients have been with me for 10 years or more – some as long as 20 years.

My goal for my clients is that they feel good in their bodies, allowing them to enjoy all the things in life that really matter.

I will tailor a strength training plan, based on a proven and safe approach called Super Slow, to meet your unique needs and goals. It doesn’t matter your age or current level of fitness – we’ll start wherever you are and gradually help you get stronger in a manner that feels natural to you.

Elizabeth grew up in Atlanta, attending The Lovett School ‘09, where she participated in basketball, cheerleading, and gymnastics before pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University ’13. She then went to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University ‘16. After graduation, she returned home to begin her career, where she gained experience in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine. Her passion for physical therapy developed into a business of her own, Well Equipt. Well Equipt adopts a concierge medical model in a gym setting to help individuals achieve well-rounded wellness. Elizabeth enjoys working with a variety of patients and aims to instill knowledge and confidence needed to regain function and improve their overall fitness. Outside of physical therapy, Elizabeth enjoys coaching basketball and gymnastics/cheer, water skiing, and traveling. wellequiptpt.com

Before I became a personal trainer I weighed 260 lbs. working as a Corporate Trainer. (Pictured Above) I started working out to live a better, hopefully longer life. In doing so I quickly learned the importance of our Core. Since becoming a personal trainer 11 years ago, I’ve prided myself on Core Improvement. Understanding that our Core is the Difference between us Stumbling and Falling as we age. I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients from all walks of life. Raised in Atlanta Georgia, I’m a former collegiate soccer player and lifetime athlete. My passion for health, education, and fitness led me to obtain my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and now I am a certified Personal Trainer.

I believe in always trying to be the best version of yourself, even if it takes your whole life to get there.

Ruth Fuqua

Personal Trainer

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ruth attended Westminster before transferring to St. Andrews boarding school in Delaware to pursue her rowing career. She continued rowing in college at the University of North Carolina before getting injured, and thus, finding her passion for athletic training and injury rehabilitation. She earned both a bachelors and masters degree in exercise science with a concentration in athletic training from UNC. She has always been active and has found her calling working with clients to improve their overall health and reduce the risk of injury and re-injury.
